Zagato returns Inouva to his true form, a wild beast. Meanwhile, Ferio�s memories slowly come back to him. He reveals himself to be Princess Emeraude’s younger brother. The girls are losing in yet another battle with Inouva; all seems lost, until Ferio communicates through the orb that Inouva’s weak spot is the jewel on his head. Hikaru manages to hit the jewel on Beast-Inouva’s head, killing him. Ferio finally reaches them, and sees the girls� triumph over Inouva, and tells them to save Cephiro! With everyone gone, Alcyone, begs Zagato again to be allowed to kill the girls, but he just leaves her begging.
In order to save Cephiro, the girls reach Zagato. They fight and are injured. They now must combine all of their powers, Red Lighting, Dragon Water, and Green Gale, to defeat him. In the final scene, Princess Emeraude screams in horror as Zagato is killed off.
The girls head to the castle where a girl, looking like Princess Emeraude, is waiting for them. She attacks them, and truths are revealed, including Emeraude�s love for Zagato. The Princess has manipulated the situation so that the girls would be compelled to kill her. She is now bound with Zagato inside the light over the land. The light disappears and all are relieved.
Omi tries to tell the others about Persia, but he is not successful. His feelings are hurt, and he takes a few days to recover. Back at school, Ken is having trouble with the other students, because he is always together with Aya and Yoji, the two teachers. The three find new evidence, but they start to think that the answer to what is happening may not be the Academy after all.
Aya and Rex are angry at Izumi for killing Inagaki. Kyou, on the other hand, offers some words of comfort. Aya and Kyou are back at the Academy. There, Todo unites the students behind him and takes over the school. Todo gives the command to kill Izumi and Misuki (Todo’s girlfriend) in order to implicate the Knights. Kyou saves Izumi, but blows his cover.
